Kevin's studio maturation started when he joined the 80's rock band, Icon. He played keyboards on two albums/CD's (A More Perfect Union, Right Between the Eyes) while with them and has since contributed keyboard parts on hundreds of recording projects. It was also during this time that he began paying closer attention to the details that go into the production of a superior recording.
Inevitably, he began to branch out, arranging and producing as well, and over the years has been involved with several projects in that guise. Among the most notable of these are Khani Cole's critically acclaimed CD, Piece of My Soul on Fahrenheit Records, Nils Lofgren's track, O Holy Night on Merry Arizona 97 on which Kevin arranged the strings and choir. Kevin also played and helped formulate arrangements with Stevie Nicks on demo songs that ultimately made it to her CD Trouble In Shangri-la (Trouble in Shangri-la and Love Is) and Fleetwood Mac's Say You Will CD (Goodbye Baby). He also played, arranged and produced two solo CD's of his own - A Wishing Season, a jazz Christmas album, and Long and Winding Road, solo piano renditions of original songs and songs of the Beatles.
Among his many projects in the last few years, he has played B-3 and synthesizer on Stickfigure's memento mori and Christian artist Trevor Thompson's CD Eyes To You on OCP, as well as providing the string arrangement for the title track. He has produced, arranged and performed on three CD's for St. Paschal Baylon Church titled Lead Us To Your Table, i will Be There and In the Arms of Angels. He is currently producing or playing on several recording projects in progress as of the summer of 2008 for artists including Valencia Vas, Joe Sikorra, Paul Salvo Quintet and 9:00.
